The following terms and conditions are applicable to all tool rentals conducted through R.C. Builds. Acceptance of a quote, payment of an invoice, and/or collection of the equipment indicates that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms as well as the general Terms and Conditions set out on the website (rcbuilds.nz/terms-conditions)
- The renter accepts all potential risk associated with the use of the equipment.
- The renter accepts that the equipment is received in good order and condition.
- There is a refundable bond for each item rented, payable up front. This will be refunded within 48 hours of the equipment's return providing the following conditions are met:
- The item shall be assessed for cleanliness and function upon return. Failure to return the item in a reasonably clean state shall result in a cleaning fee being subtracted from the deposit prior to refunding.
- If the equipment has been returned after the period stated above; an amount will be subtracted from the deposit prior to refunding.
- Charges withheld from the bond may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Cleaning fee (from $30.00 per item).
- Cost of repairs for damage caused during the rental period.
- Charge per additional calendar day of tool rental due to late return.
- Late fee ($50.00 per item).
- Cover of losses due to disrupted bookings.
- If charges are withheld from the bond, an administration fee of $30.00 will apply.
- The rental period may be extended during the course of an existing booking depending on availability of the equipment. This must be agreed in writing by both parties to confirm the change and the following applies:
- A new invoice will be created to confirm the additional charges for the rental.
- Payment of the additional invoice is required prior to the end of the existing booking period or else additional charges may apply.
